Hola Amigos!
We are here with the United Church of Christ's Michigan Conferance Southeast Area, which incompasses the Detroit Metropolitan Association and the Eastern area of Michigan. We will be talking about the partnership we have created with you later this afternoon.
Let me introduce myself to you all:
My name is Melissa Crook and I was brought up in the United Church of Christ. I am a college student here in Michigan, and I will be graduating in May 2008. After I am done with my Bachelors Degree, I will be going to Seminary where I will study to become a minister. A Seminary is a special graduate level college for study in religious leadership. The type of degree I will get is called the Masters of Divinity, which leads to Ordaination. If you have any questions about what that is, ask and I will tell you.
I am looking forward to coming down to Matzatlan in June. I know very little Spanish, as you may know very little English. I am going to try to brush up on my spanish before we come to visit with you.

Nice to meet you...I´m sorry but I had to go out early, but here I am.
I think this is so wonderful that you wish work in a ministry..
I hope to have written well, because my english isn´t very good.

Oh you did very well. I think it is better than you think. I used a web translator, I think it will help me learn more Spanish and refresh what I do know.
